Meet Beans: The Duckiverse Barista Who’s Lost a Few Beans but Brews Pure Magic

Beans

Step into Waddly Brews, and the first thing you’ll notice isn’t the cozy seating or the aroma of freshly ground coffee beans—it’s Beans, the duck behind the counter with wild eyes, an endless supply of energy, and the kind of charm that keeps every duck in the Duckiverse coming back for more.

Beans isn’t just a barista. He’s the feathery founder, chaotic caffeine king, and latte legend of Waddly Brews. A self-proclaimed “bean counter,” Beans proudly claims he started with 60 beans—one for every ounce of sanity. Now, he says with a wink and a jittery laugh, he’s down to 59 beans… and some days, maybe less.

“I might be one bean short, but that’s just the secret ingredient,” Beans quips as he steams oat milk into a swirl shaped like a flying banana.

Yeah, that’s one of his drinks.

Crazy Lattes, Quirky Vibes

If you’re looking for plain old vanilla, Waddly Brews probably isn’t your place. Beans is known for his questionable but oddly delicious creations:

The Quackuccino – espresso, foam and a dash of cayenne.

Caffe Daffy Delight – coffee, cotton candy syrup and gummy worms.

Molten Mocha Madness – hot chocolate and three shots of espresso, served in a bowl you slurp from while wearing sunglasses (Beans insists—it “enhances the flavor”).

Every cup comes with a side of ducky wisdom (or nonsense) and a napkin doodle of a duck doing yoga, climbing a mountain, or sometimes just screaming into the void.

Beans May Be “Losing His Coffee Beans” – And That’s Just Finest

Beans doesn’t hide the fact that he’s a little… out there. He owns it. Uses it. Pours it into every wild latte and weird experience inside Waddly Brews. “I’m not losing my mind,” he says, “I’m redistributing my beans.”

He’s the type who talks to espresso machines like old friends, gives motivational speeches to the muffin tray, and occasionally wears a monocle while serving cold brew. But somehow, everything he makes just works—probably because he pours his whole heart (and what’s left of his beans) into every cup.

More Than Just Coffee

For all the chaos, Waddly Brews is more than a coffee shop—it’s a safe space for weird ducks, wandering thoughts, and wild creativity. Whether you’re a poetry-writing duck, a stressed-out swan, or a latte-loving loon, Beans welcomes you with open wings and something strange in your cup.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not about how many beans you’ve got left—it’s about what you brew with the ones you’ve still got.

Have you visited Waddly Brews in the Duckiverse? What’s your favorite off-the-wall latte from Beans? Let us know in the duckie comments—or just send Beans some extra beans. He might need them.

I got this rubber ducks from 60 Beans in Jefferson City, TN. The owner remembered me coming in wearing rubber duck shirts and said next time I come in he will give me one. I came in again (I wasn’t wearing anything duck related and he still remembered me and handed me this rubber duck)

I was also given one by Ankyo the manufacturer who makes these rubber ducks for Target. I’ll use this to duck a Jeep since it’s a duplicate.
