About SteveZ DuckZ Ministry
Steve began collecting rubber ducks in 2024, calling his growing flock SteveZ DuckZ — with the “Z’s” giving the sound of “Steve’s Ducks.” What started as a fun collection quickly became something more.
Steve discovered how meaningful it was to hand out ducks as random acts of kindness, blessing strangers with a smile, a moment of encouragement, or a reminder that they matter.
It wasn’t about Jeeps.
It wasn’t about trends.
It was simply kindness.
During this time, Steve set a personal challenge: to receive at least one rubber duck from all 50 states before his 50th birthday. It took just under a year — five days shy — and every duck felt like a blessing. That journey planted the seeds for something bigger.
How the Ministry Began
Affirmation #1
In 2026, after a major life change, Steve considered ending his duck‑collecting hobby. When he mentioned this to a former coworker, Karissa, she encouraged him to continue — reminding him that he was already using ducks to spread joy and share Christ through social media.
Affirmation #2
Steve prayed for direction. Soon after, he attended the 2026 Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion, where he handed out around 500 ducks — rubber ducks, resin ducks, sticker ducks, and more. About 300 included both a duck and a Little Jesus figurine, and around 100 included a Gospel of John or Gospel of Mark booklet. Most people received them gladly. A few didn’t, and that was okay.
During the event, Steve had the opportunity to pray with two families who shared personal needs.
Affirmation #3
Then, on Sunday, the pastor preached from Isaiah 6:8 — “Here am I. Send me.”
This verse has become the ministry’s theme and calling:
Here I am. Send me.
From that moment, Steve began publicly announcing the ministry, asking for prayer, and inviting others to help. Donations came quickly — another affirmation that God was moving.
Today, Steve sees clearly that God is using him — and these ducks — to spread the gospel, plant seeds, and share Christ’s love in everyday moments.
What the Ministry Does
SteveZ DuckZ Ministry is no longer about collecting ducks.
It’s about giving them away by spreading random acts of kindness, and the love of Christ one duck at a time.

He hands out ducks and these gospels kindness packs at Jeep events, duck events, festivals, restaurants, drive‑throughs, stores, and anywhere God opens a door. Every person we meet is someone we can witness to — classmates, coworkers, cashiers, servers, strangers, neighbors, and people we pass in public spaces. The fields are white for harvest.
God can use anything — even a little duck.

Beliefs
SteveZ DuckZ Ministry Believes:
- Jesus Christ died for our sins and is the only way to the Father.
- The Bible is the holy, inspired, inerrant Word of God.
- Prayer is essential, and praying with people on the spot is powerful.
- The Holy Spirit is active and present.
- Fellowship with other believers matters — church attendance is important.
- The church must be the church, inside and outside its walls.
- We are not meant to do this alone; we are meant to do this together.
- We must be unashamed of the gospel.
- God’s love is available to everyone, regardless of their past.
- Salvation comes through accepting Jesus as personal Savior.
- Multiple Bible translations can help us better understand Scripture.
