Sinkhole Opens Up In Jefferson City After Heavy Rains. One lane has been closed due to a sinkhole opening up on Highway 11-E in Jefferson City, TN after Tuesday’s heavy rain. The sinkhole is reported near Farris Motor Company and Harrington Road.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation is urging people to use caution in the area. Plus TDOT Geotechnical engineers are on the way to evaluate the situation and determine the next steps.
It appears to be a huge sink hole too from this TDOT image.
